In just 10 minutes you can welcome in the Fall months with an abundance of delicious homemade Pumpkin Spice Lattes
I'm going to be honest, I do not know a single person who does not love a pumpkin spice latte. One of my favorite celebrities named their three pets "Pumpkin" "Spice" and "Latte" after this drink and my brother who never drinks coffee's picks one of these up five days a week whenever they come back into season.
Technically, it is not pumpkin spice latte season, but for me any time of the year is PSL time. I am from Raleigh, where it is humind until late October and starts back in early March. So I am much too familiar with getting excited for the new season by putting on my boots and a nice sweater and heading down to Starbucks the day they come out to pick one up just to look at the thermostat and realize it's 80 degrees.
This June, I can not wait three more months. I need it now!

YOU WILL NEED:
2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, see our homemade pumpkin puree recipe
1 to 3 tablespoons sugar, depending on how sweet you like it
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
1/2 cup strong hot coffee
Whipped cream, for serving
HOW TO:
Add milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot, but do not boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and the coffee.
Divide the mixture between two mugs. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
