Here is the the thing, although I am an avid supporter of local and original coffee shops I can't help but love the biggest coffee chain of them all, Starbucks!

Starbucks is my easy go-to on any roadtrip because they are everywhere and I am extremely familiar with the product. The coffee and frappes are always to die for, but what of their bakery items? I'll be honest I've had some serious hits but also some serious misses. I have tried nearly every bakery item and if you're unsure of what to get I'll tell you three of my favs!

THE CHEESE DANISH:

This bad boy warmed up is my favorite! Warm cream cheese in the center surrounded by a flakey and buttery danish, there's nothing that can top it!

THE COFFEE CAKE:

This is a new discovery for me, I don't know how I just now tried it out but I did and am thrilled about it. The crumbley and crunchy topping filled with the soft center cake is nothing less than a classic! Good job Starbucks and thank you!

THE CHOCOLATE CROISSANT:

Phew! The first food item I ever got at Starbucks. This item still remains near the top of my favorites, it's just too good! A buttery croissant filled with a gooey chocolate that holds the perfect blend of bitter and sweet. Make sure you have your napkins ready, it's a messy one but a winner for sure!
